Three backfields have new opportunities because of injuries.
And weโre watching two more where a lack of production could lead to a bigger role for the next man up. ๐
That gives us FIVE backfields to watch heading into Week 4.
๐ฌ MIAMI โ Ollie Gordon II / Jaylen Wright
DeโVon Achane is done for the season.
Gordon stepped in with 20 touches, 55 total yards and a TD in Week 3. But Wright could return.
โก๏ธ Is Gordon the new lead back, or are we headed toward a committee?
โ๏ธ JETS โ Braelon Allen / Isaiah Davis
Breece Hall is week-to-week with a quad injury.
Allen looks like the clear next man up if Hall misses time. Davis becomes the deeper stash.
โ๏ธ SAINTS โ Alvin Kamara / Kendre Miller
Travis Etienne is expected to miss time with a hamstring injury.
That could mean more Kamara โ and suddenly Miller becomes a name worth watching again.

๐ TWO MORE BACKFIELDS TO WATCH
โ ๏ธ RAIDERS โ Ashton Jeanty / Mike Washington Jr.
Jeanty: 63 carries | 206 yards | 3.3 YPC
Washington: 15 carries | 102 yards | 6.8 YPC | 1 TD
Jeanty is still the RB1. But Washington has been explosive with his limited opportunities.
โก๏ธ If that continues, does he force his way into more touches?
โก CHARGERS โ Omarion Hampton / Keaton Mitchell
Hampton: 50 carries | 193 yards | 3.9 YPC | 2 TD
Mitchell: 17 carries | 85 yards | 5.0 YPC + 1 receiving TD
Hampton remains the lead back, but Mitchell keeps flashing.
โก๏ธ Could this backfield become more of a split than we expected?
Week 4 could tell us a LOT.
๐ Donโt just chase last weekโs points. Chase the opportunity thatโs coming NEXT.
